To login to ToolHound, you must have the following information:
your Company Alias,
your User Name and
your Password.
If you do not have this information, please contact your ToolHound or System Administrator.
Logging in
Enter your Company Alias.
Type your User Name.
Enter your Password.
Click Login or if you made an error, click the Internet Explorer Refresh button and retype the information.
If you make a typing error or did not supply the correct login information, the following message will be displayed: "Invalid Login. Please try again". Repeat the login procedure from Step 1.
Adding the ToolHound Login page to your Favourites
You can go directly to the ToolHound Online Login page by saving it in your list of favourites in Internet Explorer. This saves you the step of going to the main ToolHound site and clicking on the ToolHound icon.
With the ToolHound Login open in Internet Explorer, click on Favorites.
On the submenu, click on Add to Favorites...
In the Add Favorite window that appears, either click OK to have the ToolHound link appear on your main list of favorites or click on the folder where you wish to file this link then click OK.
The next time you wish to go to the ToolHound page, click on Favorites > ToolHound.
Creating a ToolHound Login shortcut on your desktop
If you have a permanent connection to the Internet, you can create a shortcut on your desktop to the ToolHound Login. This saves you the steps of opening Internet Explorer and going to the ToolHound page.
With the ToolHound Login page open in Internet Explorer, right click in a white area of the page.
On the submenu that appears, click Create Shortcut.
A message will appear saying that a shortcut has been created on your desktop. Click OK to clear this message.
You will see that a shortcut called login.asp has been created on your desktop.
If you wish, you may rename this shortcut by right clicking on the icon and selecting Rename from the submenu. Type in the new name and press Enter.
The next time you wish to go to the ToolHound Login page, click on the shortcut icon on your desktop.
